East Windsor CERT

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a program created in partnership with FEMA that trains resident volunteers about disaster preparedness for potential hazards in our community. East Windsor CERT members are an integral part of our community’s safeguarding and directly support both our professional emergency personnel as well as their fellow residents.

CERT trains volunteer residents in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations. They are a vital part of our town’s safety network.

The East Windsor CERT team is always looking for more volunteers! If you are passionate about becoming a vital part of our community’s safety network and assisting first responders during emergencies and local events, CERT is a great way to make a difference.

The training and equipment necessary is FREE, everything you need will be provided. After initial training, meetings occur monthly for member (venues may vary.)
